Since March 2016 Willow Fabrics has been owned by the Penny family in North Devon. 

Susan and Martin Penny were the launch editors of Needlecraft, Cross Stitcher & Cross Stitch Collection magazines for Future Publishing in the 90s, and have been associated with the needlecraft and cross stitch market through magazines for over 30 years, as well as creating many craft and stitching books. 

In 2014 Susan and Martin took over production of Cross Stitcher for Dennis Publishing, and now produce it for Warner’s in Bourne, Lincolnshire. Many of the projects included with Cross Stitcher are available as material packs from Willow Fabrics, continuing a long association between the brands.
